PURPOSE OF POSITION: To produce reliably compelling, competitive morning news coverage that is relevant, accurate, timely, creative and consistent with the WCCO brand. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead daily planning and aggressive execution of two and a half hours of weekday morning news. Provide coverage of significant overnight news and prepare viewers for the day ahead.
